Sign Specifications:
– Quality 4mm Acrylic Translucent Material (Plexiglass).
– Material is UV resistant and will not fade with the sunlight, keeping the crisp white look for at least three years.
– LED strips and 2.5 meters of cable.
– The sign comes with the TAXI printed on the front base of the sign and FOR HIRE printed in red above (as shown in the picture), and has red inserts at the rear which is now a legal obligation.

LED Lighting:
– Our taxi signs now come as standard with LED lighting, in place of the old-fashioned bulb lighting.
– Benefits of LED lighting include; greater power consumption, much greater brightness and they’re guaranteed to last much longer.
– Despite these fantastic benefits to the sign, we have remained at the same prices to reward our past and emerging customers.

Magnet Specifications:
– The sign is fitted with 2 UK-made super strong magnets (not to be confused with the inferior Chinese-made magnets).
– Our magnets are rubberised, ensuring no damage to your vehicle.
– The magnets have been tested against speeds of up to 100mph.

Local Authority:
– Local councils and authorities now state certain specifications with regards to Hackney Carriage taxi signs in their area.
– In some cases, we may be able to help with your specific sign regulations e.g. we could provide the sign in plain for you to affix the lettering, we could arrange for the word ‘TAXI’ to not be displayed etc.
– Please contact us if you think we can help with your council’s specifications.

Additional Services:
– We supply a protective rubber edging for these signs, to protect against scratches on your vehicle. This means that attaching and removing the sign is harmless. Please see item number 120880311881
