Storage crates have been provided by Plastic Mouldings Northern Ltd to two local councils to help with on-site storage ahead of the new school year. The councils, one in the North-East and one in the Midlands, required a solution to storage issues brought about through the supply of new acquisitions and newer editions in their local libraries.
Following a consultation with our team they have purchased a number of 25L and 65L attached lid containers to store and transport the excess books and journals in their libraries. The Attached Lidded Tote plastic containers which are made with 100% recycled material are much more durable and longer lasting than cardboard alternatives. Thanks to ergonomically designed hand grips they give effective manual handling, allowing full crates to be moved around easily. When not filled with books the specially designed tapered outside allow the crates to nest inside each other to minimise the space taken up in storage.
We stock crates in a range sizes from 18L up to 80L capacity with the modular sizes fitting both Euro (1200x800mm) and Container (1200x1000mm) pallet footprints. The straight walls of the crates prove maximum internal volume while reinforced corners ensure absolute safety when transporting heavy loads. We also stock a wide range of Euro standard containers which are available with solid or ventilated sides and base, with folding versions available for ultimate storage and transport savings.
