This has been our core ethos since our founders Freddy Bourdais and Mark Rigg set up the company in 2002. Twenty years on and we have grown year on year, building up a prominent reputation across the sector on a global scale.
We are a regionally rooted business operating on a national and international scale and as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary, we are delighted with our post-pandemic growth which saw turnover double in the last two years despite a pandemic. This has been accompanied by staff expansion, bringing the workforce to 22, new site acquisition, increasing our square foot to 45,000 and investment in key logistics.
The main output at PMN is the production of vacuum formed plastic parts, which sees us supply high quality and often very intricate moulded parts to an array of industries. As vacuum forming specialists we have over 150 years combined experience in the field and our experience in this area continues to drive the company forward.
The process of vacuum formed plastics requires extensive experience and expertise to achieve high quality results. We supply clients nationwide and internationally with recent client contracts established to Australia and New Zealand. Our vacuum formed plastic product range is immense, our largest moulding capacity is 3 ½ x 1 ½ metre and a 5 axis trimming capacity of 4 x 2 metre. Our capabilities are highly innovative, supplying to the automotive industry, defence, aeronautical, medical, precision engineering and food industry.
Collaboration and innovation have been at the forefront of our expansive growth trajectory with strong investment in building long-standing working relationships. Over the years our wealth of knowledge and prominent reputation has seen the company work with London Underground, McLaren, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Jaguar, JCB and BAE Systems.

Efficiency of service is another key aspect which has contributed to strong growth here. We have an established sales team operating across the UK, meaning we are able to offer a quick service and response times to customer enquiries thereby building in-person connections and relationships further.
Diversification is also another key mechanism of growth, we are now the only stockist of new plastic containers and plastic pallet boxes in the North East and the largest dealer of reconditioned plastic pallets in the UK.
We also partner with the French firm, JOUPLAST® and hold the exclusive contract to distribute their adjustable risers (which ensure decking and paving slabs sit evenly) across the UK and Ireland. The products which recently featured on BBC DIY SOS are stocked by Homebase, Wickes, and Amazon, with turnover in this part of the company alone hitting over £1m last year.

We are delighted to hold the exclusive distribution rights across the UK and Ireland, and the response to the product line has been phenomenal. The clear ambition is to make JOUPLAST® the ‘go to’ brand for all types of decking and paving solutions here in the UK as it is in France.”
With the continuous and strong growth trajectory at PMN, the senior management team has seen recent expansion with the appointment of General Manager (GM), Katharine Elton. The new GM brings with her over 16 years’ experience in the industry following her recent role at Bridgewood UK.
